- Ultrasonic Tests – Ultrasonic inspection is system in which beams of HF mechanical waves are introduced into materials using transducers, for the detection and characterization of both surface and subsurface flaws in the material. Our experienced ASNT Level II technicians with our calibrated UT equipment have been used to detect internal and external cracks and other flaws in pipeline, piping, pressure vessel and storage tank welds as well as UT wall thickness measurement.
Our manual ultrasonic inspection method uses highly portable equipment that can be used in the field and in the workshop. Data collected from ultrasonic inspection can be used to assess the integrity of the asset and thereby develop asset integrity management plans (IMP)
